LIKE A VIRGIN...

As well as an immergence in block colours at the moment, white seems to be utilised to either break this up or as a statement on its own. Something about these white compilations is crisp and fresh whilst maintaining an undeniable ethereal element that only white can create.

ARM JUNK...

Mix: silver, gold, bright colours and muted tones all at once. Contrasting aesthetics is the name of the game; as is combining lush branded cuffs and watches with colourful market keepsakes. Understated is clearly overrated when it comes to the titivating of the arm.

CLUTCH AT IT...

Once you get past the painstaking elimination process of what crucial belongings you’re going to pack for the day- the day clutch can be quite the liberating accessory as it removes the hassle and spinal hazard of a large bag whilst providing the perfect opportunity for integrating colour into one’s outfit.  After a few days of adjustment, it turns out life goes on even without the extra five lipstick options, spare cardigan and change of shoes. Functional enough to hold your essentials and fabulous enough to wear into the night- the clutch bag might just take over the “it-bag” scene.

OH KATE...

No matter how much Kate Middleton wants to profess an avid interest in fashion- only one Kate will ever hold real magnitude in the fashion world. Transcending badass boyfriends, badass drug habits, and time- Kate Moss in an English fashion icon. Few models have managed to evoke such prolonged interest and continually induce trend upon trend.  Moss epitomises heroin chic and began the waif model movement. From a personal style perspective, she is responsible for the popularisation of ballet flats, skinny jeans, waist coats and denim cut-offs. It seems that wherever Kate goes- the world (or at least young, female, trend- conscious consumers) will follow.
